Portable Sign Permit Application

The following must be returned with this application:

1. A legible, detailed drawing indicating the following:
   • Size & location of sign
   • Setback of the proposed sign from all structures within 45 m (150 ft)
   • Setback from all lot lines, driveways, sidewalks, & roadways
   • Setback from any permanent sign(s) located on or near the subject property
   • Setback from any portable sign(s) located on or near the subject property
2. A copy of the Certificate of General Liability Insurance, in the amount of $2,000,000 in the name of the person(s) making the application, and naming The Corporation of the Town of Kingsville as an additional insured
3. Authorization from the registered property owner, if required
4. Applicable authority permit(s) (i.e. Ministry of Transportation of Ontario, County of Essex, or Essex Region Conservation Authority, etc.)

Upon submission of this application, I hereby acknowledge:

1. That I have personal knowledge of the particulars above stated and;

3. That all information and statements are true, to the best of my knowledge and belief and;

4. That I am not aware of any issues or circumstance that should cause the permit not to be granted and;

5. That I will conform to all the provisions in the Portable Sign By-Law, the Zoning By-Law, and any other statutes or regulations relative to the uses proposed and;

6. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Corporation of the Town of Kingsville, its officers and employees, servants and agents, from and against any and all liabilities, claims, demands, loss, costs, damages, actions, expenses, suits, or other proceedings by whomsoever made, directly or indirectly, arising out of the erection, placement, or display of the portable sign attributable to bodily injury, sickness, disease, death, damage, or destruction of tangible property.
