Short-Term Rental (STR) Licence Application

In accordance with By-law 82-2024, no person shall operate a Short-Term Rental in the Town of Kingsville without a licence issued by the Town.

Short-Term Rental (STR) means a structure or part thereof which is used for temporary lodging for a rental period not greater than twenty-eight (28) consecutive days or less in exchange for payment and includes a bed and breakfast, hotel, motel, and inn, but does not include short-term accommodations where there is no payment.

The applicant hereby applies for a STR Licence in accordance with the provisions of the Municipal Act and Town of Kingsville By-law 82-2024. The applicant understands and acknowledges that neither the issuance of a STR Licence nor the carrying out of inspection by the Town shall relieve them from responsibility to comply with all applicable statutes, regulations, and by-laws.

Please note that the application fee for an STR Licence is non-refundable.
