Dog Registration

The Town's By-law 103-2003, as amended states: Every person who harbours or shelters a dog in the Town of Kingsville shall register their dog with the Town and pay the fees as prescribed.

Effective January 1, 2024, the Town of Kingsville has moved to a lifetime dog-licensing program. These new tags are identified as silver with the Town logo and a four-digit number and will remain with your dog for his/her lifetime.

Dog Tag Fee: $75.00 One-time fee per dog

This fee applies to:

• Newly acquired dogs
• New residents to the Town of Kingsville
• Transfer of ownership within the municipality

NOTE: Please advise the Town if your dog information has changed (i.e. moved, passed away). All prices are in Canadian dollars.

Privacy Statement: Personal information is collected under the authority of the Municipal Privacy Act 2001, 8.0. c.25 and By-law 103-2003 as amended to provide for the regulation and registration of dogs in the Town of Kingsville. The information will be used for keeping records and issuances of dog licences, and also contacting the owner in the event of a lost or at-large dog. Questions about the collection of information can be directed to the Town Clerk at (519) 733-2305.
