Dog Registration

The Town's By-law 103-2003, as amended states: Every person who harbours or shelters a dog in the Town of Kingsville shall register their dog with the Town and pay the fees as prescribed.

Effective January 1, 2024, the Town of Kingsville has moved to a lifetime dog-licensing program.

Dog Tag Fee: $75.00 One-time fee per dog

This fee applies to:

• Newly acquired dogs
• New residents to the Town of Kingsville
• Transfer of ownership within the municipality

If you currently have a dog tag, there is no further action required.  As a reminder these new tags are identified as silver with the Town logo and a four-digit number and will remain with your dog for his/her lifetime.

NOTE: Please advise the Town if your dog information has changed (i.e. moved, passed away). All prices are in Canadian dollars.

Privacy Statement: Personal information is collected under the authority of the Municipal Privacy Act 2001, 8.0. c.25 and By-law 103-2003 as amended to provide for the regulation and registration of dogs in the Town of Kingsville.
