Application for a Boarding, Lodging and Rooming House (BLRH) Licence
The Town's By-law 3-2024, states that no person shall operate a BLRH without a licence issued by the Clerk.
The Town of Kingsville will not issue a BLRH Licence until all application requirements have been satisfied and the application has been approved by the Town's Fire, Planning, Building & By-law Departments. It is the applicant's responsibility to contact Kingsville Fire Rescue Services to request an inspection of the BLRH. The applicant is responsible for paying the Fire Service inspection fees at the time of inspection. A Licence will not be issued until a favourable fire inspection has occurred.
You must submit a seperate application for each BLRH structure.
The applicant hereby applies for a BLRH Licence in accordance with the provisions of the Municipal Act and Town of Kingsville By-law 3-2024. The applicant understands and acknowledges that neither the issuance of a BLRH Licence nor the carrying out of inspection by the Town shall relieve them from responsibility to comply with all applicable statutes, regulations, and by-laws.
