2021 Dog Registration
The Town's By-law 103-2003, as amended states: Every person who harbours or shelters a dog In the Town of Kingsville for a period in excess of seven (7) days in a calendar year, shall register their dog with the Town on or before March 31st of each year and pay the fees as prescribed.
Dog tags are used in the event that a licensed dog is found at-large. The Town of Kingsville will make every effort to reunite you with your dog. Licensing fees support initiatives such as feeding of stray dogs; providing emergency medical care for sick/injured stray dogs; immunization control and enforcement; enforcement of the Dog Owners' Liability Act, sheltering of unclaimed dogs, and administration.
The dog licence is $20.00 per dog before March 31st. On April 1st the fee increases to $40.00* for each dog licence. All dog licences expire on December 31st of the issuing year.
A copy of the dog's current rabies vaccination is required for dog licensing.
NOTE: Please advise the Town if your dog information has changed. (i.e. moved, passed away). All prices are in Canadian dollars.
